Who says our kids are self-centered and spoiled? A boy in Dalhart, Texas, proved different. This young man has spent his summer mowing yards for extra cash, and earned thousands of dollars. But that is just half of the story.11-year-old Dyllon Orthman wasn’t doing it to make money for himself. Instead, he was raising money for the victims of the Moore, Okla., tornado. (Love him!) Dyllon mowed nearly 90 lawns in two months, and raised about $16,000 -- and it was all his idea.

Here's what 11-year-old Dyllon said to KVII:

“I worked in 104 degrees. That didn’t stop me. I’m still going on my feet. My dad always says, ‘You’re going to work it to the bone, Dyllon.’”

What a testimony for awesome kids all over the world. Way to go, Dyllon!
