The 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards nominees have been announced! Tim McGraw and Miranda Lambert lead the race, with seven nominations apiece.

McGraw made quite a splash, finding himself in the running for Album of the Year, Single Record, Vocal Event and Video of the Year. He also received nods for his production efforts in the Album, Single and Vocal Event categories.

Lambert's third consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year and eighth for Female Vocalist helped her rise to the top of nominees, with nods also in Single Record, Song and Video of the Year. Additionally, the sassy songstress is a double nominee in Vocal Event of the Year for 'We Were Us' and 'Boys 'Round Here.'

Hot on their heels is Keith Urban who garnered six nods and Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves who received five 2014 ACMs nominations, along with Lee Brice, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift -- whose collaboration with McGraw and Urban on 'Highway Don't Care' rounded out her list.

Last year's Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, is up for the award again (along with two other nominations), and his name sits alongside an impressive selection of stars vying for the evening's biggest prize, including Lambert, Shelton, George Strait and Swift.

The 49th ACM Awards will be hosted by country's funny guys Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan and will air from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 6 at 8PM ET on CBS.
