East Texas faces the same storm system that spawned the deadly tornado that ripped through Moore, OK yesterday afternoon. Although things are pretty calm this morning, according to KLTV Meterologist Grant Dade, thunderstorms could be developing this afternoon as the cool front moves into East Texas.

Death Toll Revised from 51 to 24 After Oklahoma Tornado [UPDATED + VIDEO]

The state medical examiner's office has revised the death toll from a tornado in an Oklahoma City suburb to 24 people, including seven children. A spokeswoman says she believes some victims were counted twice in the early chaos of the storm. Authorities said initially that as many as 51 people were dead, including 20 children. More than 120 people have been treated at hospitals, including about 50 children.

Aftermath of Oklahoma Tornado in Photos

A massive tornado touched down just south of Oklahoma City on Monday, killing dozens.

At least seven of those killed were students at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore. The twister, which measured 2 miles at one point, has been given a preliminary classification of an EF-4 tornado (winds of 166 to 200 mph), according to weather officials.
