There's nothing more special like the love of a child and their dog. But this bond is even more special. 8 year old, Owen Howkins, and his three-legged pup, Haatchi, are proof of that. The two have been inseparable ever since they met a year ago.

Owen has a rare muscle condition called Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome,. This disease causes his muscles to stay in a state of tension - all the time. This condition is very uncomfortable and has made little Owen, feel like he can't leave the house because he is different.

According to ITV,  that's all changed ever since he met his best friend, Haatchi:

"[Haatchi] does look after me,"  "He's special."

Their beautiful relationship is now a short film called, "A Boy and His Dog," which was created to raise awareness about Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome.

The film  is 9 minutes long, but its worth watching. See for yourself.
