For the 22nd straight year, the Labrador Retriever is the nation’s most popular dog.

The American Kennel Club is out with their 2012 Top 10 favorite breeds, and the Golden Retriever has nosed out the Beagle for the No. 3 rung.

The rest of the pack: Bulldog, Yorkshire Terrier, Boxer, Poodle, Rottweiler and Dachshund.
