American Idol Scott McCreery Hits The Ground Running

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery will make his debut on the Grand Ole Opry on June 10, just two days after serving as a presenter at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville.  According to CMT.com, McCreery will perform on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on June 15 and Good Morning America on Aug. 12. Scott's debut single, "I Love You This Big," debuted at No. 32 on Billboard's country chart.

"I am humbled and shocked by this news," McCreery said. "I can't tell you what it means to me to be on the same charts as my musical heroes. I want to thank my fans and especially country radio for their support." McCreery will participate in the American Idols Live 2011 tour starting July 6 in Salt Lake City.
