Last night shortly after 9pm a four year old child was struck and killed by a hit and run diver. The accident happened on Highway 49 and Younger Road south of Lakeport in the Easton community in southern Gregg County. More after the jump.

Today at 1pm a thirty second test will air on every single radio and television station in the country. This test is being conducted by the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Emergency Management Agency. The Texas Rangers are busy making renovations to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The $11.5 million project will be completed in time for fans to enjoy it for the 2012 season. PATH’s annual Coats for Kids drive started October 1st and continues until the 31st. Each October PATH holds this special drive to collect winter coats for children ages infant through 18 years old. PATH is hoping to collect 2,000 coats for distribution in November. More after the jump.
Last Monday night was a magical night for Rangers fans. My son just turned 10 years old the first part of September. We hadn’t had a chance to throw a birthday party for him yet, so me an my wife decided to buy a pair of Rangers playoff tickets and take him to his first ever postseason game. More after the jump.
