Daylight Saving Time To End This Weekend
It’s the weekend WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO! Daylight Saving Time ends at 2a this Sunday and that precious hour we lost back in March, we finally get back! This means the kids will no longer have to catch the bus in the dark in the morning! However, it means more time inside each evening, but you can use it as an excuse for them to get their homework done!
Now, before you go to bed Saturday night remember to set your clock back 1 hour and wake up feeling rested. But if you’re like me you’ll wake up at your normal time and everything will feel just a little bit off! And while you’re at it this weekend, it’s a good idea to go ahead and change the batteries in your smoke detectors too.

The annual Kidd’s Kids trip to Walt Disney World in Florida is coming up in just a couple of weeks with Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. The trip is for children with a chronic or terminal illness and everything on this getaway is paid for by listeners of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. In case you didn’t get to support Kidd’s Kids on Kidd’s Kids Day last month, you can still show your support heading to Carino’s Italian Restaurant in Tyler or Longview tomorrow (Thursday).

Tyler Firefighters To Turn Tyler Pink On October 3rd
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Tyler firefighters will bring awareness to women’s cancer by turning Tyler pink! This 3rd annual event will be held Monday evening (October 3rd) on the square in downtown Tyler from 5p – 8p. It’s a great way to get the public involved and thinking about cancer and to show their support.
There is a pink fire truck and police car that travels throughout the state to raise awareness and both of them will be on the square Monday evening along with many other activities.
