Paint Your Own Pottery Studio
Amy Austin recommends this fun “Art & Crafts” type of birthday party. The idea is that you bring any
where from ten – thirty kids (over the age of 4) and let them “loose” on a piece of raw pottery with paint and glaze (pottery choices include a bowl, cup, plate and figurines). Great thing about this venue is that the studio is not shared with other people — so the studio is dedicated to celebrating your child’s birthday — plan about an hour and a half for the party. (Other places have multiple parties going on at the same time) My daughter has been there and had fun making a cup which she is being a goof and posing with here. Amy and I like it because you can bring in your own cake, drinks and snacks — we have picky kids who are specific about their cake. There is a return trip to the shop to pick up the finished pieces as the pottery has to go back into the kiln to back on the glaze. Piddlin Pottery is very easy to find at 4007 Broadway, Tyler, Texas. You can call them at 903-939-9111 for more information. Chuck E. Cheese — “Where a kid can be a kid!’
Jeff Evan’s recommendation — Jeff’s spin on Tyler’s Best place to have a kid’s birthday party: “Chuck E. Cheese’s is one of my kids favorite places to have a kids birthday party. The atmosphere can be a little much for those older family members like grandparents that you may invite, but as far as making the kids happy, you can’t go wrong. There are several packages to choose from. Price range is from $11.99 per child to $16.99 per child. These packages include pizza, drinks, tokens, party favors, etc. My favorite part is the party host/hostess. This person is in charge of keeping the party moving and helping to keep the children’s experience a fun one. Chuck E. Cheese’s has a good security system where parents and children receive a hand stamp with the same number. They
have someone stationed at the door to prevent any child from leaving the restaurant with an adult with a different hand stamp. This allows parents to be able to sit back and relax a little while the kids go crazy running through the restaurant playing games and earning those coupons. The more coupons they collect, the bigger the prize they can purchase at the end of the party! For a birthday party that is easy to plan, and pretty inexpensive for everything that you get, Chuck E. Cheese’s is my choice! Especially for birthday parties for any child that is pre-teen. The whole party can be booked on-line and invitations can be sent, which makes it convenient! The website clearly walks you through all the party options! Located at 736 West SW Loop 323 – Tyler, TX 75701 or call them at (903) 581-4550).” Jeff rates this with five candles out of five in Tyler to have a kid’s birthday party.

Look Back In Time & Explore Your World
Stephanie Canie and I totally recommend this as our top place to have a birthday party in Tyler for all age children. Located at 1600 W.S.W. Loop 323 and Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler. The staff is customer service orientated. You need to book your party online. Hours of operation are March – September 9a-5p Monday – Friday and October – February 10a – 4p — Monday – Saturday, the facility is 450 different animal life like exhibits. (there is a cement alligator peaking up out of the water under a bridge that scared the TAR out of my youngest.) closed on Sundays. There are over The best part of this place it is free! All you have to do is bring a group of birthday guests, your snack and/or picnic basket filled with drinks and yummy eats, a cake and presto-changeo you have a birthday that won’t be forgotten! To avoid buying useless party favors I recommend giving each child a two dollars each and let them knock themselves out in the Old School General Store — for us candy lovers you are in mecca! There is plenty of shade and most certainly a natural feel to the park. The playground features a restored railroad caboose, John Deere tractor and firetruck which seems to zap all the sugar out of the over excited kids making the drive home much nicer. Stephanie and I rate Brookshire’s World of Wildlife five candles out of five as one of Tyler, Texas’s best place to have a kid’s birthday party.
To Glorify God While Providing A Fun and Recreation Experience For Families
During the summer’s heat this is a great family orientated water park to have a birthday party in the Tyler area. Located a short drive away in Canton, Tx or Shreveport, LA I recommend this as a “cool” place. I booked my party in Canton by calling 903-567-0044. I was treated to exceptional customer service when I booked my middle son’s 8th birthday, it seemed as if the nice lady genuinely wanted this to be a birthday party not to be forgotten –for $259 (plus tax) I was able to have 8 guests enjoy a day splashing and playing (it was $16.95 for each person over the 8 guest limit). When we got to the park the “Party VIP Tent” was ready for us with a cake, drinks — the 16 inch pizza was delivered to us quickly. The kids really had fun with the twenty war water balloons. The tent is only available for one hour which keeps everyone focused on the party — then I let them loose to go cool themselves down in the water park. I had extra drinks and snacks cooling in a ice chest in my car to fuel the kids up once they had worn off the pizza and cake. I rate this with five candles out of five when recommending best places to have a kid’s birthday party in Tyler, Texas and area.
