Dierks Bentley's Woman, Amen, Justin Moore's Point at You, Keith Urban's John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16, Kenny Chesney and Pink's Setting the World on Fire, you recognize all those tunes. The songwriter of those hits is a gentleman by the name of Ross Copperman. He took some time to sit down with Big D and Bubba to talk about how he came up with the songs and how the artists pick up his tunes.

Brett Eldredge owes a lot to Ross as he wrote Drunk on Your Love, Lose My Mind, Beat of the Music and Wanna Be That Song that all turned into radio hits. He talked about writing Drunk on Your Love in about 45 minutes.

Ross played a bit of Setting the World on Fire with Patrick doing Pink's part. Another Kenny song by Ross is Get Along.

Yeah, this dude is hot in Nashville, now. His number one count is impressive and just keeps growing.

Listen to Big D and Bubba Monday through Saturday mornings on 101.5 KNUE.
