Billboard Music Awards Pay Tribute to Music Icons [VIDEO]
May 21, 2012 12:01 PM The Billboard Music Awards show last night had many great moments and performances, but the moment that took everyone’s breath away, had to be Jordin Sparks and John Legend’s tribute to Whitney Houston.
Country group Lady Antebellum received the Top Country Artist Award and Jason Aldean took home the award for Top Country Album for “My Kinda Party.” Of course Country’s sweetheart, Taylor Swift, dressed in a beautiful flowing red gown, was honored as the “Billboard Woman of The Year!” The coveted award was in honor of her accomplishments such as; being the only woman in music history to score three #1 albums in a row, each of which has sold more than 5 million copies.
