A Bar Mitzvah serves as a Jewish boy's rite of passage into manhood, normally a time for a teenage boy to rake in presents and cash. But in the case of 13 year old Joshua Neidorf, he's proving to be every bit worthy of being called "a man."

In all Neidorf, of Los Angeles, Calif., donated $13,000 of his Bar Mitzvah money to Operation Mend, a program that reconstructs the faces of severely burned U.S. veterans.
"I just love knowing that it’s going somewhere … to help the people who save our lives and keep us safe everyday," said Neidorf to KCAL9 in the video below.
What a great example Joshua is to us all -- I'm not sure I'd be so willing to part with that much dough, especially as a teenager.
