October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, I am pretty sure someone in your circle has been touched by this silent killer. Thankfully today we have the medical knowledge that this killer can be identified and patients properly diagnosed so they can receive the proper treatment to help rid their bodies of this disease and hopefully never return.

Women and men too that have been diagnosed with this disease chronicle their journeys in different ways, take Emily Helck for instance. As a survivor, Emily created a time-lapse video of her journey throughout her treatments. Doing something like this takes a lot of courage and we thank her for putting together this video to show that you can survive, but I am sure there were a lot of tough times throughout the year this video was made.
