It seems some of the big restaurant chains are getting ready for Obama' new healthcare plan -- by cutting employees hours. Wow! Currently, the law states that employers with more than 50 full-time equivalent employees will be charged a penalty for any employees over 30 full-time employees that they don't cover. Several employers are considering cutting employees' hours to part time because they cannot afford the penalties. Some of those business include Darden  Restaurants which has Red Lobster and Olive Garden. Also, Darden is expected to charge a surcharge to customers of %%. Other restaurant chains following suit are Papa John's, Apple-Metro and Jimmy John's.
