I just got chill bumps after watching this video.  It is set in the Seattle Children’s Hospital and features kids that have some form of cancer lip-syncing to Kelly Clarkson‘s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.

The video is 3:35 and after watching some videos you think, wow, that’s 3:35 I’ll never get back but after watching this video you won’t feel that way.  It made me think about all the kids that are suffering from cancer in hospitals around the nation and I’m sure there are many right here in East Texas going through the same and how important it is to help find a cure.  I also thought about the Children’s Miracle Network and the amazing support that is given to CMN through the listeners of Mix 93-1 each year.

The video was shot by 22 year old Chris Rumble who is a leukemia patient at the Seattle Children’s Hospital.  He put the video together that features other patients, nurses and doctors lip synching and dancing to the song in their hospital beds, rooms, hallways and other places.  There’s one shot in the video that features a kid peddling what looks like a dune buggy through the hospital corridors with a nurse keeping pace behind them with their IV tree!  Looks like they have fun in the hospital when they can.

Kelly posted the following on her Twitter page along with a link to the YouTube video:

Oh my goodness y’all have to see this! It’s beautiful! I can’t wait to visit these kids and nurses! It’s Seattle Children’s Hospital, I believe. God Bless y’all!”

Seeing this video made me feel good today – hope it does the same for you.
