In what has become tradition, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back Movies In The Park at Bergfeld Park for the fall. The parks department screens movies for free at Bergfeld Park's ampitheater and all you need to do is bring a blanket to sit on and some movie snacks!
This Saturday (9/15) at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore it's the Monster Truck Fall Nationals! Before the show, a few of the monster trucks will be making special appearances around East Texas!
I think the hot dog was the first thing that was battered in corn meal, deep fried and offered up at the fair. For as long as I can remember, I've always had a corn dog at the fair, but now the deep fried menu has expanded greatly and offers up quite a few tasty treats for fair goers every year.
