A benefit concert for Kevin Patterson of Longview is being planned for Sept. 28 at Arabella Manor event venue in East Mountain. The benefit is going to be packed with live entertainment from Texas music acts like Creed Fisher Band and Brandon Smith band just to name a few, along with an auction conducted by Storage Wars: Texas and Mr. Walt Cade.

Since 1996, KNUE has been involved with St. Jude 'Country Cares,' a radiothon that involves country radio stations across the United States. The "Country Cares' radiothon was started with Randy Owen from the group Alabama in the late '80's and is the most successful radio fundraiser in America.
