Ellen DeGeneres had Clint Eastwood on her show yesterday and had quite a chat. It was interesting as they spoke about Clint's speech at the Republican National Convention, his daughter's boyfriend and gay marriage.

Eastwood discussed his libertarian beliefs, which he described as socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Here's what Eastwood had to say:

"Libertarian values: That's where Republicans used to be when they were saving money and everything."

Eastwood even went as far as calling the republicans as spending money like "drunken sailors." But later in the interview, Eastwood included the Democrats in the mix of money-wasters.

As far as his speech at the RNC, Eastwood says he doesn't really care about the people who didn't like his speech, he was just expressing his feelings.

Questions about his daughter and her boyfriend brought up the controversy of when his daughter, Francesca Eastwood, and her photographer boyfriend, Tyler Shields, set a $100,ooo red crocodile Hermès Birkin handbag on fire.
