Cody Canada And The Departed — The East Texas State Fair And New Music

If you haven't heard, former Cross Canadian Ragweed front-man Cody Canada is back with a new band called The Departed (maybe cause he took half of Ragweed with him when he departed --but that's pure speculation.)  And you can see The Departed Saturday night in Tyler at The East Texas State Fair.

Their first release to radio "The Ballad of Rosalie" off their debut album titled "This is Indian Land" shot straight to No. 1 in Texas.  Earlier this summer Cody called into Radio Texas Live and told us how the name of the album came to him, no need for speculation here.

Now they're back with the inevitable follow up, its called "Skyline Radio" and I've got your first listen to it right here, check it out and let me know what you think.
