The Como-Pickton Spring Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 12th at the Pickton Community Center from 9a to 2p. The spring festival will benefit the family of Como-Pickton band director Jeremy Wofford whose home was destroyed by a tornado in his home town of Royse City on April 3rd.

The Spring Festival will offer up bounce houses for the kids, photo booths, raffles and more and will feature a jazz dinner and one-act play at a special dinner that evening at 6p at the Pickton Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Meal tickets for the event will be $20 a couple and there will be child care services available for an additional $5.
