Country duo Florida Georgia Line gets its second #1 hit with "Get Your Shine On." The guys celebrated in style with a party at Sambuca restaurant in Nashville. The guys co-wrote the song with songwriters Rodney Clawson and Chris Tompkins.   Country listeners couldn't get enough of this duo when they released their first #1 hit, "Cruise." Now, to have their second song ever to be released go to #1 as well, it's incredible.

Here's what the guys told The Tennessean about their success:

“It’s a dream come true to do it once and then do it again especially right out of the gate,” Kelley says of collecting their second No. 1 song. “This whole thing is very special to be a part of and we’re not going to take anything for granted.”

Kelley remembers writing “Get Your Shine On,” the day of their publishing company’s Christmas party. They started out drinking beer and talking about fishing and when it was all said and done, they had a song.

“Those are the days you thank God for, and that’s what’s so addicting about it,” Kelley says. “You chase those days that are easy and fun.”

The duo just wrapped off their successful run at the CMT Awards and Music Festival, tieing with Miranda Lambert for the most wins at both awards shows. The guys also saw a one of their dreams come true when they played LP field in Nashville!

“That’s a dream come true, LP Field. You move to Nashville and ask yourself, ‘What venues do you want to play, what are these amazing venues that you want to check off on your bucket list?’ And, LP Field would be the top.”

The duo is "two for two," will they make it "three for three" with their latest hit "Round Here?" Most likely!
