Country For Our Country: East Texans Supporting Wounded East Texas Warriors [AUDIO]

Country for our Country returns to Vila Di Felicita, in Tyler on September 24, 2011. The local, annual event was started in 2009 by a group of East Texas business owners with the help of General Brown and many other local community and business members.

In what is without a doubt the most realistic and sobering 3 minutes ever, on Radio Texas Live, Andy Burnett shared his story with us. And if there was ever any doubt about what this organization is doing for wounded veterans here in East Texas Andy will effectively remove any qualms or hang ups you might have and get your priorities right, right now.

The goal from the beginning of Country for our Country has been to raise support for East Texas wounded warriors, warriors like Andy that have put their lives in harm's way in support of our freedoms and provide them an avenue to succeed upon their return to East Texas from often times long tours and grueling conditions in combat zones like Iraq and Afghanistan.

But you know we aren't going to get through an RTX interview without 5 Questions. And for myself, as a veteran and former NCO in The United States Army being able to hit the buzzer on General Brown because he got an answer (or 2 or 3) wrong may be the highlight of my radio career, it's the Country For Our Country edition of 5 Questions, check it out!
