Most country fans buy Chris Stapleton tickets to witness live music, but one couple in Vancouver headed to a Chris Stapleton show with the hope of getting married.

A homemade sign was raised at Stapleton's show on Tuesday night (March 28) in Vancouver, reading, "We want to get married. Here. Now." The singer saw the sign from the stage and invited the couple up, while a man named Jonathan acted as the officiant for the ceremony. Jessica Banks from Country 107.1 was on hand and captured the memorable moment on video.

Cleverly using lyrics from Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey," Jonathan first asked Jillian if she accepted Jeremy, "Who's as smooth as Tennessee whiskey?" The bride sang “I do,” fittingly in melody with the song. Next, the groom was asked if he accepted Jillian, "Who’s sweet as strawberry wine?" He didn't follow the lead to sing his response, but quickly responded, "most absolutely yes."

"Should they get married?" Jonathan asked the crowd as the audience screamed in approval. Stapleton also shared his well wishes to the newlyweds and captured the sweet moment in a series of photographs posted on his personal Instagram page.

"Congrats Jeremy and Jill, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness," he wrote.

While it's doubtful there will be any weddings taking place at the upcoming ACM Awards, reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Stapleton may take home some trophies, as he is nominated in three categories, including both Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year with “Tennessee Whiskey” as well as Video of the Year for "Fire Away."
