Craig Morgan is about to hit the road for a brief tour to bring the power of storytelling to fans. The limited engagement American Stories Tour will kick off on Oct. 29.

Spanning six cities in three weeks, the American Stories Tour will feature Morgan and his longtime friend Mac Powell from Christian rock band, Third Day. The series will combine intimate acoustic performances with on-stage storytelling from Morgan, Powell and American military heroes.

"Country music is all about storytelling and that's the idea behind these shows," says Morgan. "Me and Mac and some of our friends will share the songs and stories that move us and inspire us as Americans all while we celebrate the values of this great nation we call home."

Morgan will welcome fellow military veterans to join the singers on stage, sharing their stories and celebrating American values through music and storytelling. In a backstage interview at the Grand Ole Opry, Morgan talked about some of the high profile military names that will share their experience on the American Stories Tour.

"At each show, I will have a military - I refer to them as a military profile person or a military hero," said Morgan in a backstage interview at the Grand Ole Opry. "From Medal of Honor winner Dakota Meyer, to hopefully Taya Kyle, Chris Kyle, the American Sniper's wife."

The limited engagement concert series will begin on Oct. 29 in Peoria, Ill. A full list of dates is below and fans can learn more and purchase tickets on Morgan's official website.
