Law enforcement agencies throughout the State of Texas will be working together in a statewide warrant sweep to round up those with outstanding warrants. If for some reason you have an outstanding warrant, you can stop by the Tyler Municipal Court to pay your fine and clear up your tickets to avoid arrest and additional fees prior to the warrant sweep, which begins on Saturday March 7.

The statewide sweep concludes March 15 and will include more than 250 agencies. The city of Tyler will continue its warrant sweep throughout the entire month of March.

During the sweep local agencies will work together to make arrests and collect fines for outstanding warrants. To clear anything up with the City of Tyler, they've expanded the hours of the Tyler Municipal Court to 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

During the 2014 Statewide Warrant Sweep, Tyler collected $451,628.55 in fines and cleared up 2,134 warrants.

If you have outstanding warrants with the City of Tyler there are three ways in which to clear them up and get them paid:

  • Call the Tyler Municipal Court at 903-531-1266
  • Pay online on the City of Tyler website and click on the 'I Want To' tab
  • Pay in person at 813 N. Broadway Ave., Tyler
