Music will be filling Heritage Plaza and the downtown Longview area beginning tomorrow evening with the return of Downtown Live! The popularity of Downtown Live has grown with support from the community. Originally taking place in October only, this event now included dates in the spring and now organizers have expanded the live music series to include the month of September too. Gary Ford, Chairman of the One Hundred Acres of Heritage says, "We are bringing back some of our favorite bands and also introducing some new ones."

Beginning tomorrow with Levi Kitchen, East Texans and Longview residents can dance their away around Heritage Plaza and this fun will continue throughout the next seven weekends. The artists will strike their chord around 5 p.m. each Friday (except for October 21st) and will continue to play for the next hour and a half! The Longview News Journal has listed the following artists to play Downtown Live:
