Recent Rains Bring East Texas Lake Levels Back to Near Normal
According to the Texas Water Development Board, recent rains in East Texas have brought lake levels up to near normal capacity.
As of Wednesday, the following lake levels were reported:
Lake Palestine: Just under normal levels at 99.11 percent capacity, (0.15 feet low).
Lake Jacksonville: At 100 percent.
Lake O’ The Pines: Water level is 95.41 percent, (0.63 feet low).
Lake Fork: Just under 90 percent normal level, (2.58 feet low).
Lake Tyler: Levels stand just under 84 percent (2.58 feet low).
Lake Athens: Level is at 90.66 percent of normal (1.56 feet low).
