Christopher Magill, 25, who worked at a physician’s office in Waskom is accused of exposing himself and inappropriately touching patients while alone with them in the exam room.

The complaints also stated that the victims were seeing the P.A. during the month of February and during their examinations, the P.A. was asking very personal questions not related to the examinations, and on one occasion he touched patient’s breasts inappropriately during an exam for an unrelated illness, thereby resulting in an assault charge.

Harrison County Investigators have received three complaints, all from females.

The complaints stated that the victims were seeing the P.A. during the month of February and during their examinations, the P.A. was asking very personal questions not related to the examinations.

Magill was released from Harrison County Jail after his attorney posted and $8500.00 bond. Magill has since left the employment of the physician’s office in Waskom and has been reported to the State of Texas Licensing Board.

All charges are misdemeanor charges and may be punishable by 6 months confinement and/or a fine of $2000.00

 

East Texas Man Killed in Train Accident

A Rains County man is dead after his pickup was struck by a train Wednesday afternoon.

DPS says Martin Ruiz-Herrera, 33 of Point, TX had just turned off of the  I-30 service road onto CR-4721 when he was hit by the train at the Railroad Crossing.

Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene. The fatal accident occurred around 5:30 p. m. in Hopkins County.
