East Texas Wildfires [VIDEO]

East Texas awoke this morning to a smoky haze. I am an East Texas native and have never seen anything like the East Texas wildfires that quickly burned through beautiful East Texas burning everything in sight as it rolled through county to county!  With high winds and drought stricken conditions emergency evacuations were called in parts of Anderson, Smith, Gregg, Upshur, Cass and Rusk countries. Fires still burn at this hour all across East Texas!

The Gregg County Fire Marshall says crews are concentrating on saving homes near the fire at Cole Bottom Road. Authorities say the fire has been stopped from moving north.So far, officials say no homes have been lost, but a couple of sheds have burned.We're told the fire has jumped from the eastern, to the western side of Cole Bottom Road. We have a crew on scene and will post more information as it becomes available.
