Rick Ellis' daughter, Lindsey, was 6 years old when she died. A full life ahead of her, she was taken far too soon by a drunk driver.

And that drunk driver was her mother.

Lindsey died four years ago in a car accident caused by her mother, Christy Ellis, while she tried to drive home from Gulf Shores, Ala.

Last week Rick went to visit his daughter's gravesite and decided to take a video of himself with his thoughts on his daughter, her mother's struggle and gives some advice for those who might need help.

“My little girl was killed from a mother who wanted to get high, drink, party and have fun. It didn’t work out too well," Rick says in the video. "I’m going to show you something that is the end result of your partying on Friday nights, Saturday nights, whenever. Want to get drunk, play around, get stupid? This is what happens."

Rick then turns his phone to show the gravestone where Lindsey and her mother are buried.

“This is my precious little girl who had been killed in a drunk driving accident," Rick says. "Her mother had been partying for two days, staying up all night, drinking whiskey, having fun.  Everything was great. Well, it ‘aint so great now.”
