Walmart store managers in some parts of Texas make $92,000 per year. At Kohls, some store managers are making $87,000. Target store managers can make more than both.  How does East Texas compare?

The GlassDoor is known for peeling back the curtain and getting into discussions about work and money that we don't normally have. Do you want to know how much your co-workers make? I don't!  But they're worth every penny and more.

If you're curious about what retail store managers make, check out the list that's floating around the web.  Here are some of the highlights, according to GlassDoor, taken from salary averages around Dallas-Fort Worth.

GlassDoor doesn't list a Walmart store manager's salary for Tyler. If you want to post your salary here just tell me, and we'll do our own little informal study.  Wink wink.

Maybe we're not talking about salaries much in East Texas, and that might be a good thing. But it is interesting to see where companies are with paychecks, and what's out there if you're thinking of a career change or a move to a bigger Texas city.

Regardless, we hope you love your job and are super happy because then it doesn't feel like work at all and the money is just the icing on the cake. All jobs are pretty awesome on Friday, right? Have a great weekend.
