‘Fire Up The Grill’ Best BBQ Side Dishes – Recipes

If you plan a BBQ for Father’s Day, try these  Best BBQ side dishes for the grill! Theses dishes are the perfect way to show Dad how much you care! Dad won’t be able to resist!

Bon Apetite’

Zesty Grilled Corn

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter

2 tablespoons prepared mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper

2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

6 ears fresh corn

Directions

Preheat grill for medium heat.

1. In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in mustard, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon pepper seasoning.

2. Place each ear of corn on a 13×12 inch piece of HEAVY DUTY aluminum foil. Drizzle with butter mixture. Wrap loosely, leaving space for the expansion of steam, and seal.

3. Grill over medium coals for 15 to 20 minutes, or until corn is tender. Small ears will take less time, and larger ears may take more. Carefully unwrap foil, and serve.

 

Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

4 red potatoes, thinly sliced

1 large onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, chopped

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

1/4 cup butter, cubed

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat grill for medium heat.

Layer sliced potatoes on aluminum foil with the onion, garlic, basil, and butter. Season with salt and pepper. Fold foil around the potatoes to make a packet.

Place potato packet on heated grill over indirect heat, and cook for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Turn over packet halfway through cooking.
