Florida Georgia Line’s new album has a name and a major collaboration. The duo say their third studio album will be called Dig Your Roots, and it will feature Tim McGraw.

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard spilled the news while on Lon Helton’s Country Countdown USA last week. The album name is the same as the Dig Your Roots Tour, which features opening acts Cole Swindell, the Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.

“It’s a song we wrote last year, and we love that song, it represents the album as a whole, where we’re at, where we’re headed,” Kelley says. “It feels good, it’s more mature, and we don’t want to make the same record ever.”

“The songs are better. They’re deeper.” The duo previously told Taste of Country the album is set for August, with a new single coming in late April.

“It’s the perfect evolution,” Kelley says. “I think, really honestly, we’ve tried as best we can to be as transparent as we can with our lyrics and our music and record and write exactly where we’re at and then release it.”

Hubbard points out that Kelley sings lead on three of the album's songs, which is new for the ACM Vocal Duo of the Year winners. They don’t share if the song McGraw joins them for is one of those songs, but they describe the song as a dream come true, adding that they solidified the track at the ACMs in Las Vegas.

“It’s kind of like 'Round Here' meets 'Dirt,'" Kelley tells Helton. The Dig Your Roots Tour begins May 12 in Tupelo, Miss.
