Carlo D'Angelo, of D’Angelo Holdings L.L.C., has received zoning approval to bring food trucks to downtown Tyler according to CBS 19.

"Getting from downtown to anywhere on the Loop, round-trip, in an hour is almost impossible. We want to give people a good variety and a place for people
to get away for lunch," D'Angelo said.

The park is expected to open this fall and will cover two lots at the intersection of South Center Avenue and East Elm Street. The lots total 0.27 acres, according to information from the city.
