Frankie Ballard Talks: Kenny Chesney, New Music + Taste of Country Christmas Show

The Taste of Country Christmas Tour comes through East Texas on Friday Nov. 13th, and this year Frankie Ballard Ballard, who recently hit No. 1 with “Young & Crazy,” will be our headliner at the all-new Electric Cowboy in Longview.

I caught up with Ballard and he told us the story behind winning a battle of the bands contest and the opportunity to open for Kenny Chesney in his home state of MIchigan. A win that inspired his move to Nashville. He talked about his new song "It All Started with a Beer," which was recorded in El Paso, TX and will be out to radio mid-November.
