For the 12th straight year, IHOP celebrates National Pancake Day by offering their free original buttermilk pancakes in "short stacks".  The reason?  Besides knowing you're enjoying their tasty flapjacks, IHOP wants to raise money for the charities they support.

Since this program began back in 2006, IHOP's customers have contributed more than $24 million to the cause.  This year, Shriners Hospitals For Children, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as Children's Miracle Network Hospitals will all benefit from donations diners make between 7 am to 7 pm this Tuesday, March 7.

All five IHOP locations in East Texas (2 in Tyler, 1 each in Longview, Lindale, & Winona) are expecting lots of pancake feasting, so plan to show up hungry & be ready to do your part to help these worthy organizations.
