Halloween is one week away, and one Texas city just down the road is considered one the top 20 in the country to Celebrate!

According to Wallethub.com, Garland, TX ranks at the 17th best city in which to celebrate on Oct. 31. By comparing candy and chocolate stores per capita in the 100 largest cities in the country with the average price per Halloween party ticket they established their list.

So who cracked the top 10? Another Texas city, Laredo came in at number 8. The top spot may or may not surprise you. It's the city that never sleeps, New York, NY.

They also released this fun infographic below, which breaks down the holiday by the numbers. As a nation, we are projected to spend a record $9.1 Billion in 2017.
