It's been 17 years since Garth Brooks has taken a stage in Dallas, and it showed on Friday (July 24) in his ticket sales.

In a matter of minutes, Brooks went from having two shows scheduled for Sept. 18-19 to a total of seven in five days. And tickets were vanishing as fast as the shows were being placed on Ticketmaster.com.

Brooks broke his own Dallas record for tickets sold, selling 75,939 tickets for his seven concerts -- and they're still selling.

He sold 50,213 total tickets for his concerts on Feb. 13-15, 1998 at Reunion Arena in Dallas.

Tickets for all the shows are just under $75, including taxes and fees, no matter where the seats are. It's something you don't see too often in today's musical world.

Here’s his full Dallas concert schedule:

  • Thursday, Sept. 17 — 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 18 — 7 p.m.
