Sometimes the good guy does win! An Oklahoma hospital that failed to build a women's health center in honor of Garth Brooks' late mother must pay the country singer $1 million, a jury has ruled.

Garth Brooks donated $500,000 to Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon, Okla., in 2005. Garth donated the money in honor of his late mother, Colleen Brooks, who passed away from cancer in 1999. The hospital never intended to build the wing and was found guilty of breach of contract.

MSN reported Brooks testified that he thought he had a solid agreement with the hospital's president.  Brooks said the hospital president initially suggested putting his mother's name on an intensive care unit, and when Brooks said that wouldn't fit her image, the hospital President suggested a women's center. Garth agreed on the women's center and was excited about the project.

Garth Brooks has said he will be touring again one day, and I hope it's soon! Check out this incredible video from his concert in NYC's Central Park!
