Gary Allan Writes Letter to Country Radio Stations Following Interview
Country star Gary Allan recently raised eyebrows and drew criticism from an interview with Larry King, in which he criticized artists Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, saying "they're not country."
Allan immediately responded to his critics, saying his comments were taken out of context, and now he has gone a step further.
The "Pieces" singer released a handwritten letter he wrote to country radio stations, further offering clarification for his comments:
There sure seems to be a lot of drama in the world of country music, another situation recently coming to light when Zac Brown said Luke Bryan's new song "That's My Kinda Night" is "the worst" he's ever heard.
So, while we all sit around and argue about what music is actually country or not, who is to actually define that?
