Country legend George Jones has just announced plans for a final tour, called The Grand Tour. George says after touring for fifty years, he's ready to spend time with wife Nancy and their family.The tour will make stops in 60 cities, starting in 2013. Of course, the tour name comes from one of George's classic hits, "The Grand Tour." He's expected to perform that and other legendary songs like "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and "White Lightning" on the tour.

Dates for "The Grand Tour" will be announced at a later date.

George battled an upper respiratory infection earlier this year, but he's now back on the road with a full tour schedule this year. Click here for details on his current tour dates.

George also making plans to record a new album soon, and Dolly Parton is among those contributing songs for the project. A release date hasn't been announced for that album yet. But as soon as we know, we will pass on the information.
