George Strait is helping one of his favorite Texas cities to bring tourism back to the town as they recover from Hurricane Harvey.

Rockport, Texas is a coastal town that depends heavily on tourism. The town was heavily damaged by Hurricane Harvey last year.

George Strait owns a home in the area and is lending his voice and music, for free, to help bring tourists back to the city to continue to revive the coastal town according to kristv.com.

There are about 200 radio and television commercials that are scheduled to air showing off what Rockport has to offer.

Rockport is Northeast of Corpus Christi and is bordered by both Aransas Bay and Copano Bay.

I've never been to the area but looks like it would be a nice vacation spot during the summer. Get more details at rockport-fulton.org.
