Bart Crow And Company In Athens Tonight For The Murchison Volunteer FD

Murchison VFD is an all volunteer fire and rescue department with a very tight operating budget that relies heavily on fund raising each year. This year MVFD is proud to announce the First Annual Cody Riley Presents Murchison VFD Music Benefit 2011 featuring David Grace, Cody Riley, Brandon Jenkins, Fred Andrews And Honeybrowne and Bart Crow.

The concert will be at the Henderson County Fairgrounds off HWY 31 just east of Athens tonight with festivities kicking off at 4pm and ending around midnight.

All funds raised will be used to support MVFD's mission of saving lives and property. MVFD responds to an average of 400 calls per year and they need your help to be able to continue serving East Texas. Over 85% of all fire and first responders are voluntary and your help will allow them do their job efficiently and effectively.

Headliner Bart Crow called in to talk with me about the great cause and he says ya'll need to come whether or not they're your favorite band... to support the volunteers that serve you.
