Long bus rides, sold out concerts, terrible homesickness and the brotherhood that comes with being part of a traveling band ... Granger Smith's new documentary will give an honest look at everything a touring country singer goes through in an effort to bring the music to the people. This three-minute-long trailer gives fans a taste of what's to come later in 2014.

The footage was shot during a recent run across the midwest. Smith and his band traveled through Missouri, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio during this stretch, putting thousands of miles on their Prevost bus. Paul de la Cerda directed the documentary, which is on schedule for a spring release.

Smith's song 'Miles and Mud Tires' sets the stage for this preview. The latest single from his 'Dirt Road Driveway' album was released late last year, and a new music video was unveiled in December. The affable Texan is known for his straight-forward, yet poetic brand of music, and for his alter ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr. Dibbles does not appear in this clip.
