An arrest affidavit obtained by KLTV revealed how a quick-thinking Henderson County Deputy thwarted a possible bomb threat while at work last week.

According to KLTV, the deputy contacted an investigator after a man came to the Henderson County Annex building requesting to see the fire marshal. When told the fire marshal was not available, the man then said he wanted to speak to Judge Wade Mckinney in reference to bombs he would use on school buses that drive past his property.

The man, identified as 58-year-old Robert Daryl Williams, said he and his neighbor guard the property and would use all available weapons. The deputy escorted Williams from the building and he was later arrested and booked into the Henderson County Jail on one count of Terroristic Threat with a $250,000 bond.
