Hollywood Icon Will Take An Area Stage… Singing With His Band!

Billy Bob Thornton, known for his acting roles in films such as Sling Blade, Monster's Ball, & the Texas favorite Friday Night Lights, is coming to Grant Event Center at Choctaw Casino, next Saturday night April 15th.  He'll be performing, not in the manner we're accustomed to, but rather as front man for his band, Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters.  

Don't think this is a spur-of-the-moment lark for the Academy Award winner.  Thornton has been singing in public for over 25 years, receiving accolades for his music from Lone Star legends like Willie Nelson & ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.  Billy Bob was just part of a Washington Post piece about entertainment booked for the upcoming annual White House Correspondents festivities.  His Boxmasters will headline the private concert event the night before the infamous dinner.

Starting Monday, KNUE will give away tickets so you can see Billy Bob Thornton up close at the Oklahoma casino resort.  Just wake up with Big D & Bubba every morning from 5 til 9 am next week, then be ready to call in for a pair of free seats at the show.
