When I was offered the job at the front desk, I really had no idea of what I was getting myself in to. I had always thought that radio and media had been interesting, but I didn't know what my job would entail.

I didn't know if the people here were boring people all focused on work and no play; or if it was the other way around. I have learned that a company should not be focused on either work and no play, or all play and no work. Every single one of my co-workers are extremely determined and hard working. They put a lot of heart and determination into their work and that is why this company has succeeded at so much this past year. We know that if we work hard and exceed expectations we will be rewarded. Whether it is an in-studio performance, a company lunch or party, closing the office down a few hours early, to playing pool or "Ms. Pac-Man" at one of the famous company "Beer and Barbeque's". Each person here is fully motivated to do their job and do it beyond well, because they have things to look forward to. I believe that the encouragement and motivation and all of the extreme appreciation shown by the managers and all employees withing the company is what has helped this company exceed expectations. So why is employee motivation so important to a good company? The people at BigBurrtio.com help give a better explaination.

The best way to build a great company is to motivate your employees to be great themselves. Encourage your employees to continue growing and developing their skills and talents so they can be and do everything they want to. Inspire them to achieve their goals... All work and no play...you know the rest. One of the best ways to motivate is to set work aside for a bit and just let everyone have fun.
