Humane Society of East Texas ‘Pets in the Park’ is Saturday at Bergeld Park

Hey guys, bring your pets and join the fun at the Human Society of East Texas Annual "Pets in The Park" event at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. The event is a blast for you and your pet. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. for a full day of crazy fun until 4p.m.

When I say a full day of fun, I mean a full day of fun! Don't miss the Blessing of The Animals at 10:30 then head out to park and check out the vendors, agility demonstrations by the Tyler Obedience & Training Club, carnival food, Weenie bobbing (I love this event!), Weenie races at 11:30 and from 1 to 3 p.m., vaccinations and micro-chipping.

Let the kids go wild with the bounce house, arts and crafts, face painting, bungee trampoline and rock-climbing wall.

Special appearances by Bill and Star and Second Spin Rescue Spin Dogs and Sure Shots Fly ball team of Dallas -- both shows are a must see!

2:00 - Best Kisser
2:30 - Best Howl or Bark
3:00 - Best Pet / Owner Look-A-Like
