I-35 Rock Thrower Arrested

In what has been called a "serial rock assailant case", Austin police have finally made an arrest.

Since 2014, more than eighty incidents of cars being hit by rocks on I-35 in Austin. Temporary signs had been posted on I-35 warning drivers of the incidents.

Earlier in the month, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph, Police arrested 44 year old Marquel Raymond Boone but the incidents continued.

Thursday, 59 year old Patrick Eugene Johnson was arrested will face aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
