The NFL trade deadline was this past Tuesday. The Cowboys picked up some big time help the week before in a trade with Oakland for Amari Cooper. I have always liked him as a Raider. He's going to help Dallas' offense big time. The other NFC East teams made some moves, too. The awful Giants dumped a couple of players. The Eagles added Golden Tate to their receiving core and the Redskins added Ha Ha Clinton Dix to their defense.

The Houston Texans added and big time receiver, too, in Demaryius Thomas to take the place of the injured Will Fuller. The Texans are looking up.

Now to some predictions and picks.

Da Bears! My co-worker Shawn Knight is from Chicago and, as you would expect, is a huge Bears fan. He's been very happy this season. For good reason, too. The Bears are having a good season. They travel to Buffalo to take on the hapless Bills. Bears win.

The Pittsburgh Steelers looked dead early this season. They've since come on even though they still don't have their star running back Le'Veon Bell. They travel to Baltimore to take on their division rival, the Ravens. These games are always tough. This time, Baltimore comes out on top.

The Dallas Cowboys are home this Monday night to take on the Tennessee Titans. It will be their first game with new receiver Amari Cooper. The Cowboys also fired their offensive line coach and promoted Marc Colombo to the position. I like this move. The offensive line has not played up to snuff this season. I see a big improvement coming. I am a fan of the Titans and their QB Marcus Mariota, they are still learning the ways of new coach Mike Vrabel. Cowboys win to go 4-0 at home so far this season.
